Conversations with Cities (Lava Publishing House, 2026) is a poetic graphic novel - a dialogue between a traveller and their companions, the cities they have loved. Each city is portrayed as a soulful being, a friend with its own voice, moods, and secrets.

Shaped by a life of travelling the world and building new homes, I’ve learned to see cities as living beings, each carrying its own memory, rhythm, and soul.

Through words and my illustrations, these portraits explore faith, fear, longing, and the fragile beauty of belonging. It is both a travelogue of places and an inner map of emotions, tracing the ways cities shape us, and the ways we speak back to them.

In moving from city to city, I’ve learned their language - each one a living being with its own soul.

Barnens Flora (The Childrens Flora)

Barnens Flora (The Children’s Flora) began as my high school project, where I built my own business and self-published an educational book for children about how their environment grows, from flowers to trees, across all seasons. Over the course of a full year, I photographed plants at every stage of growth, ensuring the book’s educational purpose was fully realized.

Sharing these images with children aged 5–11, I was inspired by their comments and curiosity to write short stories about each flower - its name, where it grows, and other useful, fun facts. I also created a memory game to help them learn about the plants and their cycles in an engaging way.

The result was a colourful, hardback book made from durable, water-resistant material, easy for children to carry outdoors and explore nature hands-on.

The book was a success, selling out three series to schools and libraries across Gävleborg, Sweden. A new edition will be released in 2026.
